I’m Phillip Yarde, a happy man doing a job I love! I’m based in the historic Somerset market town of Midsomer Norton, just south of the city of Bath, where I started my plumbing and heating business 14 years ago after completing my City & Guilds qualification.
Before I got into plumbing, I was a financial advisor, so it was quite a change of direction for me to take on an engineering trade. I wanted a more hands-on occupation, and one where I could be of use to people in my local area.
I take on work across the Bath area, from Shepton Mallet down south to Cheddar in the West and into Wiltshire, including Westbury, Warminster and Trowbridge, to the east.
Over the years I have built up a team of reliable and highly reputable trades people who I can call on as sub-contractors to work with me on larger plumbing or heating projects – including bathroom renovations – that come my way.
We form a formidable band of skilled experts, who can undertake a wide range of work, from installing underfloor heating to tiling a wet room.
I have built up a good relationship with many repeat customers, who I am proud to say recommend my services by word of mouth to friends and family, so I am seldom short of work.
As a local, independent sole trader I can’t afford to let my standards slip, and constantly strive to be recognised in the community for my commitment to top class customer service, and of course excellent workmanship.
When I take on a plumbing or heating job you can be assured I’ll arrive on time, work on schedule and there’ll be no cost overruns or hidden charges. I believe in open and transparent customer communication – honesty is always the best policy! I’m not affiliated to any particular brand of equipment or appliances, so you can trust that any advice I give you is completely unbiased and straightforward.
